| The years passed and the cute little boy grew up into a handsome young man. He graduated from high school and joined the Air Force. Eventually he found himself in a land far away, an amazing land called Texas. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| One day a gorgeous young woman attempted to throw a paper cup over the fence at the local swimming pool. (we'll ignore the littering factor!) The ever-present wind had the temerity to scoop it up and blow it back onto a handsome stranger. A few days later, she was walking back to her office (at Amarillo Air Force Base) and lo & behold who should pull up & offer a ride.....the Handsome Stranger. One thing led to another and soon wedding bells were heard throughout the land! |

| This is one of my most favorite pictures of my Dad. I can remember looking at this from a very young age. Of course it just rubbed my nose in the fact that soon after this they got rid of all the horses & never bought ME one!!! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
